Grab your jacket, boots, skis and poles. It’s time to celebrate Jackson Hole being voted #1 Overall Resort in North America. The distinguished honor was bestowed on the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort in late September 2013 by SKI Magazine’s readership. In commemoration, the resort’s staff is hosting a very special free ski event.
The celebratory ski event is scheduled to take place from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at Teton Village on Friday, November 29th, 2013. So now is the ideal time to call and reserve your Jackson Hole rental. Otherwise, you may end up without a spot to park your ski jacket for the night.
The very popular ski resort is home to 2,500 acres of winter sports nirvana. Included within the resorts’ stunning acreage is a vertical drop of more than 4,000 feet, breath-taking chutes and an area completed devoted to intermediate skiers. As for the little ones, there’s a Kids’ Ranch area too.
When you finish enjoying the celebratory free ski, be sure to check-out the mountain dining facilities. There are quite a few notable ones. Among them are the Rendezvous, Casper, Tin Can Cantina and Nick Wilson’s Bar/Grill.
After dinner, you can opt to retire to your Jackson Hole rental for the night. One of the rental facilities on offer is the La Choumine Condominiums. Many of the La Choumine Condominiums feature kitchenettes complete with basic appliances. They are not the only condominiums with access to the slopes. The list of other Jackson Hole lodging options includes the Crystal Springs, Cody, Nez Perce and Rendezvous Condominiums.
In addition to well appointed accommodations, a stay at the condominiums also includes entrance to the Sundance Swim and Tennis Club. The club is generally open during the winter months from 2 p.m. until 9 p.m. It features a Jacuzzi, an outdoor heated pool, kids’ pool and changing facilities.
