Jackson Hole Activities

There are just a few short weeks left before the kids head back to school. Come to Jackson Hole for some memorable family fun!

Cowboy Coaster

Big kids - aka mom and dad - and little kids will enjoy this thrill ride through the pines! The Cowboy Coaster winds and loops its way through the forest carrying riders over 400 vertical feet up Snow King Mountain, and then speeds downhill towards the finish line on a track with 4 circles and 6 bridges. This alpine ride gets as high as 23 feet off the ground and can go up to 25 mph! Be ready to hear “Let’s do it again!”

The Ropes | Aerial Adventure Course

If balance beams, cargo nets, and wobbly bridges sound like fun, try them at 25 feet above the ground! The Aerial Adventure Course is a safe way for those who are adventurous to challenge themselves and try different routes across the ropes to the high top platforms. Make this stop a priority on your list as it’s only open through Labor Day.

Bar T 5 Covered Wagon Ride

How about riding in a real covered wagon, pulled by a beautiful team of horses, driven by real cowboys? The Bar T 5 Covered Wagon Ride is a true western experience. As the horses make their way through the beautiful canyon, the family can sit back and enjoy the amazing view. What makes this trip even more special is that this wagon ride takes you to a mouth-watering dinner followed by entertainment from some of the best singing cowboys around.

Aerial Tram to Hiking Trails

You can go hiking on any of the great trails around Jackson but why not take a more scenic ride to the upper mountain trails? Take the Aerial Tram at Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Ascending 4,139 feet in just 12 minutes, the tram leaves hikers at 10,450 feet, among the high peaks of the southern Tetons. There is the easy Top of the World trail that takes just 20 minutes to complete or more moderate trails where you can hike 1-3 hours.

Enjoy all the fun family activities around Jackson!  The kids will talk about their trip to Jackson long after you return home.
