Elkhorn Lodge is one of the few homes in Teton Village located within steps of the slopes of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort. Teton Village shops and restaurants are within a short walk away. Guests are consistently amazed at how abundant the wildlife is in this neighborhood, and so close! Keep your camera ready for moose, elk, deer, or foxes strolling through the property! Skiers can walk down the road a short distance then put on skis at an access point that leads to the base of the tram or over to the gondola. Elkhorn Lodge is the perfect choice for families looking for the prime location for a mountain getaway in Jackson! With approximately 2900 square feet, there is plenty of room for your group or family to spread out for relaxation after a full day of outdoor activities.

One of the many striking features of this mountain home is the soaring, two-story windows in the spacious living room, providing ample light and the feeling of bringing the outdoors inside. When entering this spectacular property, guests will feel at home. A large breakfast and kitchen area invites opportunity to create the perfect meal before heading out to the slopes or for a hike. The updated kitchen is equipped with modern finishes and stainless steel appliances, including a gas cook top and counter seating for four people. The kitchen comes equipped with everything our guest chefs need to ensure that their time away from home is nothing less than perfect. Four stairs lead up to an open dining area with seating for 8-10 and access to the back patio. The open dining area is adjacent to the spacious yet cozy living room complete with a wet bar and wine cooler. High ceilings, a gas fireplace, flat screen TV and comfortable furnishings all combine to make this a very inviting space. The large windows offers expansive views, creating a living space with natural light.  Many guests report that their favorite part of Elkhorn Lodge is the  protected patio area with a gas BBQ grill, outdoor furniture and hot tub.  The secluded deck and hot tub area provide the perfect venue to relax and review all of the day’s adventures.

The main level of this property also includes a powder room and separate renovated laundry room. A full bathroom is shared by the bunk room that offers two sets of twin bunk beds and an adjacent bedroom with twin beds which may be converted into a king for a small fee.  There is a small game room with a Foosball table in this kid friendly area.

Located on the top floor of Elkhorn Lodge, guests will find the King Master bedroom equipped with a large  TV and an inviting ensuite Master bath. The spacious bedroom boasts an expansive bath offering two vanities, a Jacuzzi tub and a walk-in shower.   The two remaining bedrooms are also located on this level,  one with a King bed and the other with Twin beds.  These Twin beds can be converted into a King bed for a small fee.  Each of these bedrooms enjoys a private full bath.  Rendezvous Mountain Rentals provides all guests with numerous included amenities, as well as access to free wireless internet, expanded basic cable packages and free local calling included in the rental rate.  Please note:  The apartment over the detached adjacent garage to this property is not accessible to guests.  The two garage spaces, closest to the main house, are accessible to guests.  The owner of the property will occasionally stay in the guest apartment above the garage and will use the far left garage bay when in Jackson. They may park in front of the far left garage bay also.

Teton Village is a spectacular location at the base of the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort ski area.  This unique location features unrivaled access to all of the best that Jackson Hole has to offer.  Guests staying in Teton Village will enjoy access to world class skiing during the winter and are perfectly positioned for an exciting, fun-filled, activity packed vacation in the summer!  A variety of restaurants with delicious menus will satiate your well-earned hunger after a day spent outdoors in the fresh mountain air. In summer, you’re within walking distance to a wide variety of activities in Teton Village.  Your family and friends will keep busy in the Grand Adventure Park learning the ropes course, bouncing around on the bungee trampoline, and taking a shot at the climbing wall. You can also enjoy hiking the on-site trails spilling over with beautiful wildflowers, testing your mountain biking skills on lift accessed trails of all ability levels, taking a guided tour of the Via Ferrata climbing routes, and trying out the disc golf. Riding the “Big Red” tram to the top of Rendezvous Mountain for 360-degree views of the Tetons and splendor of the valley spread out below you is a must. Pop into Corbet’s Cabin at the top of the tram for their famous homemade waffles.  Take a selfie on the tram dock!

For a change of pace, take a short 15 minute scenic drive past open ranchland with grazing cows and horses into the historic town of Jackson.  Snap some photos beneath the famous elk antler arches on the Town Square, stroll along the old-time wooden boardwalks surrounding the Square, and stop into one of the many art galleries featuring Western art and sculptures from world renowned local artists. Explore the shops filled with unique handicrafts, clothing and gifts, many of them made by wonderfully talented local artisans.  Take home a treasured reminder of your vacation from one of the fine jewelry shops featuring Teton inspired jewelry, embedded with diamonds, gemstones and even elk ivory.

What a great spot! Short walk to the slopes and we were able to ski all the way back to the house. Great space in the house and we were able to fit a large group very comfortably. Alex W. (Vrbo guest)

We really enjoyed our stay! Great location, we loved the set up of the house with a downstairs “kids” style bedroom area with connecting rooms with bunk beds. Nice large master bedroom. And the hot tub was nice to have after long hiking and activities! It was a nice location; not too far from Jackson, right in the ski resort and can hike and do activities right there and is also close to the entrance to Teton national park so you are traveling so far every day. House was clean, great linens, and had good amount of kitchen appliances and accessories needed to Cook/bake meals at the house. Thank you! We would love to come back!-- Dan G. (Vrbo guest)

Knives so dull can not cut butter, clean, room for six men, kitchen redo good, laundry excellent, tv area needs much larger tv, downstairs double twin has strange access, ski out is up slope 15 minute walk, can ski in closer, if heavy snow can not leave, management team responsive to needs

Thank you for the feedback.  We did just place a new set of knives in the property.  We hope that you will stay with us again!

Great location. Plenty of space for our group. Excellent service when we had requests for sharp knives and cork screw. On a side note - the washing machine needs a repair as the the liquid detergent dispenser is not working.

Thank you for the feedback.  This feedback helps us ensure we are providing the highest quality, and functioning, properties to our guests. We have addressed the washing machine/dispenser.  We hope that you will stay with us again!

House is as close to ski in/out as available, have to walk across McCollister then up road to townhomes to access end of Sundance, uphill walk at end to Sweetwater gondola or Teewinot lift, price was good for number of beds, somewhat dated decor, kitchen adequate, strange access to twin room on lower level, it is thru bunk room and shares bath. Moose came by almost daily to look in windows.

Thank you for the feedback! We hope to see you again the future.

Although this property worked for our group of 7, we were extremely disappointed with the fact that bedroom 5 was only accessible through bedroom #4 and # 5 had skylights with no shades!!The entrance had no closet and no hooks to hang stuff!

Thank you for taking time to review the property.  We will increase the detail on the property description to ensure all guests understand that access to bedroom #5 is through bedroom #4.  We also passed the additional feedback around shades and lack of hooks to the property owner.  We hope to add these additional amenities shortly.  We hope that you will stay with us again in the future.

Location of house was great! Walking distance to Teton Village and hiking trails. Unfortunately, our 2 families that stayed at the home did not feel that the "luxury price" we paid for home rental was worth it. Lower level of home has been updated, but upstairs rooms were not pleasant. One bedroom with king bed had awful bathroom. Shower head was so low you had to bend down to wash hair. Toilet was old and did not work well. Would flush in middle of the night. Electrical system needs work. The few outlets that were in rooms would get hot. Light switch downstairs shocked one of our kids. Heater would not turn off and weather was hot during out stay. Hot tub problems. Had to have maintenance come out twice. Gave 4 of us major rashes from chemical and would not heat for 2 days. Maintenance fixed both issues. This house is not priced right for quality.

Thank you for the feedback.  We appreciate this information and are working to remedy these issues. This feedback allows us to ensure an overall better stay for our guests.  We are deeply sorry you did not fully enjoy your stay, we will work to ensure that these issues do not occur in the future.

The Elkhorn Lodge is a great jackson hole ski property. It is up the hill with the rest of the houses in the area but closer to the slopes. We figured out we could just walk across the street. It was like a ski in - ski out house without paying for it. It was nice inside too. Clean and everything. Nice staff.

The torx screws on the breakfast counter stools were lose causing the chairs to wobble to the point that we could not use one of them for fear of damage to the chair or person. Kitchen knives were beyond dull - a table knife was sharper. The shower head in the bath above the kitchen was too low. The lodge was clean and ready for all of us. Everything was very acceptable (see above exceptions). Thanks to Jennifer for helping us get into the lodge for only three nights.

Thank you for your feedback.  We are happy to accommodate our guests when there is availability.  We will address your feedback reported above.  We hope that you will come back and stay with us again soon.

This property is located very close to ski runs and restaurants. We did not even use a car during our stay. This is a large house that accommodated our family well. It is a great property for families with kids. I look forward to renting this property again.
