The 39th Annual Fall Arts Festival will bring thousands to Jackson Hole during one of the most beautiful times of year. The event takes place at local museums, galleries and studios, the Jackson Hole Town Square, historical valley ranches, the Center for the Arts and more.

The Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival is widely recognized as one of the premier cultural events in the Rocky Mountain West. Please join us September 6-17, 2023 for the 39th annual celebration. 

The JH Fall Arts Festival will include:

2023 Schedule of Events 

Wednesday, September 6th:

  • Wine Down Wednesday & Wind Up for Fall Arts:
    Jewelry & Wine Pairing. Wind up for Fall Arts and wine down at The Historic Wort Hotel, where our wine expert is pairing bottles with jewelry designers from the Western Design Conference.

Thursday, September 7th:

  • Western Design Conference Preview Party & Fashion Show:
    Early entry into the Exhibit & Sales allows a first glance at one-of-a-kind creations in furniture, fashion, jewelry, home and lifestyle accessories. Meet and shop with this year's artists, designers and exhibitors, experience a runway Fashion Show and participate in the Live Auction during a festive night of shopping and entertainment.  Enjoy signature cocktails, open bars and catering all night.

Friday, September 8th:

  • Western Design Conference: 
    The preeminent exhibition of the finest Western design in the world, with a twist - from cowboy to contemporary.  Meet the makers and shop direct at every price point during this festive event.  100 national artists present contemporary and traditional handcrafted, original creations of furniture, fashion, jewelry, and accessories for the home during the 31st annual WDC Exhibit & Sale.  Daily 2 pm happy hour in the WDC Designer Lounge.

  • Palates & Palettes Free Gallery Walk:
    Presented by the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and  Build Magazine.
    Visit Jackson's fine art galleries to kick off the 2023 Jackson Hole Fall Arts Festival. Participating galleries pair with local restaurants and beverage makers to serve food and drink as you browse the art.

Saturday, September 9th:

  • Western Visions Exhibit Opening:
    Western Visions is the National Museum of Wildlife Art's largest and longest-running fundraiser, with top contemporary wildlife artists and collectors from around the world.  Exhibit runs through Oct. 1.

Sunday, September 10th:

  • Arts on the Green:
    View and purchase art, jewelry, and more from 50+ local creatives including some of Jackson's finest artists.  Local entertainment, food and drinks all afternoon!

  • Western Visions Show + Sale with Live Auction:
    Top contemporary wildlife artists come together with international collectors of the Museum's longest-running fundraiser.  Open public sale begins Friday, September 15.

  • Jackson Hole Showcase of Homes:
    A one-day, self-guided tour of some of the most spectacular living spaces in the West.  Tickets available at homesteadmag.com.

  • "Afternoon with the Artist" reception with featured artist Ewoud De Groot

  • QuickDraw Artist Reception:
    Meet the artists of the 2023 Jackson Hole QuickDraw in an intimate reception including fine food and drinks.  The QuickDraw Reception, presented by ARK Silver Gold Osmium, includes an exclusive concert and viewing of the world-famous Osmium Violin.

Saturday, September 16th:

  • Jackson Hole QuickDraw & Auction:
    Internationally recognized Western, wildlife, and landscape artists take to the Town Square and create incredible works of art in 90-minutes. Finished pieces go to auction, paint still wet, on the Town Square!

  • Jackson Hole Art Auction:
    In its 17th year, the Jackson Hole Art Auction offers masterworks of the American West, wildlife art and more in one of the most highly-anticipated art auctions of the year.
