Enjoy a classic 4th of July celebration in Jackson Hole this year!  Firework shows, live music, a home town parade and pancake breakfast, western fun and plenty of adventure make Jackson Hole a great place to celebrate our nation’s birthday with your friends and family.

The 4th of July parade is a Jackson Hole tradition. The parade starts at 10:30am in downtown Jackson. Prior to the parade, plan to enjoy a pancake breakfast hosted by the Jackson Hole Lions Club. These community boosters will gather just off the Town Square on Center Street for this annual event. Breakfast is $10 for adults, $5 for kids 4 to 8 years old and free for kid’s 3 years old and under.

If you like a little western action, plan on watching a lively reenactment of frontier justice on the Jackson Town Square in what is the longest, continuously running shootout show in the country! The show begins at 6pm, but plan on arriving early to find a good parking spot.

The Jackson Hole Rodeo also hosts a special rodeo on the 4th of July. The 4th of July Rodeo is a fine western tradition, and a wonderful way to spend an evening as the sun sets over the Teton Mountain Range. Jackson Hole’s firework display will begin shortly after the rodeo. From the base of Snow King Mountain, at approximately 10 pm, you can expect to hear and see an amazing display.

Everyone loves spending a day on the water, so you plan a fun day on Jackson Lake or the Snake River. Paddleboards, kayaks, or a guided float down the river must all be arranged in advance to guarantee equipment and room for you and your family on this busy weekend.

If you prefer to stay close to your vacation rental in the Aspens or Teton Village, you can celebrate Independence Day in Teton Village with two fun days of activities, spectacular fireworks and free outdoor music. The fun begins on July 3rd with live music by Head for the Hills, beginning at 7pm.  Fireworks will follow at 10pm.  On July 4th, look for Calle Mambo to take the stage on the Village Commons at 8pm, followed by another fireworks display at 10pm.

We wish you a fun and safe weekend celebrating the 4th of July in Jackson Hole!
