Description:
This Teton Village getaway with Scandinavian-inspired decor is inviting and whimsical. Large windows, bright colors and clean lines come together to create a fantastic vacation home.
The high-end country kitchen features top of the line appliances and a center prep island. Combined with a large dining area with seating for eight, breakfast bar with seating for four and a sitting room with a flat screen tv/dvd, this space is truly a “great room” worthy of the name. There is also a ½ bath and wet bar close by.
Just a few steps up bring you to an inviting and elegant living room that your family will want to spend time in. The centerpiece of this bright, airy room is the gorgeous rock fireplace. High ceilings, thoughtful décor, high-end furnishings and large picture windows complete the picture perfect space.
Downstairs opens to a large family room complete with an entertainment center (TV, VCR, DVD), play station, exercise equipment, foosball table and queen size pull out sofa. There are two bedrooms on this level. The first has a queen bed, flat screen TV and ensuite bath with a jetted tub and stand up shower. The second room is perfect for the kids with two sets of bunk beds and an additional queen bed. This room shares a ¾ bath with the family room and has its own TV. Also located on the lower level is a sauna and large laundry room.
The third level of the house offers lofted views of the living room. There are two bedrooms on this level. The first has a captain bunkbed with a queen bed on the bottom and a twin bed on the top. This room has a TV/DVD and an ensuite bath with a jetted tub, shower combo. Down the hall is the large master bedroom with a king bed. There is a beautiful rock fireplace for show and a comfortable chair for reading or watching TV. The master bath offers dual vanities, large walk in closet, jetted tub and stand up shower.
Other amenities of the Cody Peak Lodge include access to a one car garage with a large ski storage room complete with a boot dryer. Wireless internet access is included with a fax and printer for guest use. A large deck with a gas grill and outdoor hot tub wraps around the back of the home. The back yard is landscaped and backs up to a lovely stream, perfect for a summertime BBQ.
The location of this house is ideal for all seasons, providing guests with fantastic ski access in the winter and trail access in the summer, and is just a few minutes walk to the center of Teton Village.
