In case you haven’t heard, Jackson Hole is celebrating a huge milestone this winter. That’s right: Jackson Hole is celebrating 50 years of fantastic skiing and snowboarding! The 2015/2016 ski season will be filled with some exciting events to celebrate our storied mountain heritage.
This is a great year to visit (or revisit) Jackson Hole and become part of history. Now is the time to make your winter vacation plans and there is not a better time to visit as Jackson Hole celebrates 50 years. Below are some of the highlights planned for the 50th Celebration.
$6 Lift Tickets
Jackson Hole will open Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, for the first day of skiing and snowboarding. Before you enjoy your delicious turkey dinner, make sure to hit the slopes for a few runs. Then on Flashback Friday, November 27th, the resort will turn back the clock and offer lift passes for the 1965 season rate of $6.

Flashback Friday will also feature great lunch and après ski specials, as well as live music. Vintage ski wear is encouraged.
Teton Lift Opening
On December 19th, Jackson Hole will be opening its newest lift named the Teton Lift. This high speed quad will feature some exciting new terrain, and will be a fantastic addition to the resort. Following the lift opening, there will be a great après ski party with music, film, holiday treats, and an awesome firework show set to music. It will be a fun celebration for the whole family to enjoy before the start of the busy holiday season.

Jackson Hole is welcoming pass holders from all other ski areas around the world with an unique offer this winter. If you visit from January 11th -31st, your lift passes for Jackson Hole will be 50% off with a valid 2015-16 Season pass from any other ski area. This is a once in a life time opportunity! Grand Reunion Weekend
Have you ever spent a winter in Jackson Hole as an employee? Now is the time to come back for a huge reunion weekend! There will be some special events for those who have worked at the ski resort, and in conjunction with the Town of Jackson, the resort will also be hosting some great events for everyone to enjoy. Two favorite Jackson Hole events not to miss are the famous Powder 8 competition and the classic Skijoring, which are happening the weekend of February 5th -7th, 2016.
Rendezvous Mountain Festival
For the 3rd year in a row, the Rendezvous Mountain Festival will bring a lively weekend of nationally recognized music acts to perform free concerts in the Town of Jackson and Teton Village. This year’s dates are set for March 17th-20th, and to date the Zac Brown Band has been slated for March 19.
